งานลอยเรือ เกาะหลีเป๊ะ คืออะไร และ สำคัญอย่างไร
งานลอยเรือที่เกาะหลีเป๊ะเป็นงานประเพณีที่สำคัญของชาวเลหรือชาวอูรักลาโว้ย ซึ่งเป็นชาวพื้นเมืองที่อาศัยอยู่บนเกาะหลีเป๊ะและเกาะอื่นๆ ในทะเลอันดามัน งานนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อบูชาวิญญาณบรรพบุรุษและขอพรให้มีความเจริญรุ่งเรือง ปลอดภัย และมีความสุข พิธีลอยเรือมักจัดขึ้นในช่วงปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายนถึงต้นเดือนธันวาคม ประกอบด้วยการสร้างเรือจำลองที่ทำจากไม้หรือวัสดุธรรมชาติ จากนั้นชาวเลจะใส่ของเซ่นไหว้ลงไปในเรือ เช่น ข้าว ปลา ผัก และผลไม้ รวมถึงเครื่องใช้ที่ต้องการให้วิญญาณบรรพบุรุษได้ใช้ หลังจากเตรียมเสร็จสิ้น ชาวเลจะร่วมกันทำพิธีบูชาและร้องเพลงพื้นเมือง จากนั้นจะพาเรือไปลอยลงทะเล เชื่อกันว่าเป็นการส่งความทุกข์และสิ่งไม่ดีต่างๆ ออกไปจากชีวิต และนำความสุขและความเจริญรุ่งเรืองเข้ามาแทน งานลอยเรือมีความสำคัญทั้งในเชิงวัฒนธรรมและจิตใจ เป็นโอกาสที่ชาวเลได้รวมตัวกัน ทำกิจกรรมร่วมกัน สร้างความสัมพันธ์และความสามัคคีในชุมชน นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นแหล่งดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวที่สนใจเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น ทำให้เกาะหลีเป๊ะเป็นที่รู้จักและมีชื่อเสียงมากยิ่งขึ้น
งานลอยเรือที่เกาะหลีเป๊ะจัดขึ้นปีละ 2 ครั้ง โดยปกติจะจัดในช่วงวันขึ้น 13-15 ค่ำ เดือน 6 และเดือน 11 ตามปฏิทินจันทรคติไทย
1. ครั้งแรก: ประมาณเดือนพฤษภาคม
2. ครั้งที่สอง: ประมาณเดือนพฤศจิกายน
ทั้งสองครั้งนี้เป็นช่วงเวลาที่ชาวเลจะรวมตัวกันเพื่อประกอบพิธีกรรมสำคัญนี้ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการบูชาวิญญาณบรรพบุรุษและขอพรให้มีความเจริญรุ่งเรือง ปลอดภัย และมีความสุข
